Who We Serve
We serve small and mid-sized organizations that are traditionally underserved by consultants and advisors.
Whether a client is a growth-stage company seeking to create a lasting strategy or a mature company ready for a transformation or a sale, we treat our clients’ businesses like they are our own.
Any engagement is underpinned by uncompromising integrity, close collaboration with leadership, and creativity in finding the right, tailored solutions.
We are long-term partners who work with clients across their lifecycle from strategy formulation and development, to execution, to achieve quantifiable results.
Our Approach
We tailor every engagement to our clients’ specific needs.
Strategy:
1. Identify Opportunities for Growth
We use a research-driven methodology to identify, value, and compare strategic choices.
2. Determine Capital Needs
We support the strategy formulation process with detailed financial modeling to determine precisely what’s needed to fund growth.
3. Finance Growth
Our deep knowledge of the business, its strategy, and its people help us match the company to the right financing partner when needed.
4. Translate Strategy into Execution
We take a hands-on role in translating strategy into practical execution. We become part of the team with responsibilities for driving successful outcomes.
Corporate Finance:
1. Prepare Company for Market
We extensively prepare management teams to go to market, understanding that a sale process may be unfamiliar. We support the team with thoughtful, well-researched marketing materials including a CIM, financial model, and management presentation.
2. Identify Prospective Buyers
We identify financial and strategic buyers who will meet our clients’ criteria.
3. Run Competitive Process
We run a tightly managed process designed to help clients realize desired structure, terms, and value.
4. Close
We support negotiations to ensure transparency and an efficient close.
The Impact We Make for Our Clients
“We’ve worked with Matt and Rich at Jeffrey Pine Consulting through multiple stages of our business growth. Initially engaging JPC to optimize our operating model and financial management systems, we subsequently shifted to a comprehensive business valuation process grounded in a sophisticated valuation methodology and an in-depth understanding of our business. Their thorough analysis of our business and value proposition, industry relationships, skilled development of a highly detailed and compelling CIM, and well-defined process gave us complete confidence that our trust-based collaboration would yield the best outcome. They worked at our pace and allowed us sufficient time to run the business while working through the process.”
— Founder, Mid-market Professional Services Firm
“We worked with Matt Lasov at Jeffery Pine Consulting to first take a holistic look at our business and then work with us to develop specific, actionable next steps our team could implement. Matt and his team at Jeffery Pine developed a roadmap of initiatives to accelerate our growth and optimize our operations. Initiatives were carefully researched and prioritized resulting in a handful of practical, quick wins in combination with the long-term strategy we are pursuing today. In fact, we have named Matt as an Advisor to Lancer Group and he continues to be a trusted advisor to our firm.”
— Scott Dunklee, CEO, The Lancer Group
